With mountains crashing into the sea, secluded harbors, amazing weather, and enough pomp and circumstance to make George Clooney look like a vagabond, there really is no other region like it. From old world charm to new world super-yachts, the area is a confluence of old and new, charm and sophistication. And because we have almost none of that at YesButNoButYes, we've decided to devote this week's From the Air entirely to this small section of coastline along the Mediterranean. (We've also included a few satellite views from Monaco and Italy, so it won't be entirely just in France.) Take a look at the following images, and tell me what they are and where they are.

Damn, such a shame it's been so long since i've been there that I forgot the names.
#3 is the Old Port of Nice east of Le Chateau while #8 is just to the west; the beach volleyball courts along the Promenade des Anglais and the Quai des Etats-Unis.
