I know that everyone is saying their goodbyes, but not Haterade. He still has 2 more columns to write up, and 120 minutes of less than inspiring singing to cover for a show that, unlike YBNBY, may need to be put out in the pasture and be shot.

So after spending the next 6 days wondering if America intentionally tortured me by getting rid of SIobhan Magnus and keeping in Casey James (they didn't - Siobhan wasn't good last week), I'll be getting tortured even more when Harry Connick Jr. takes the music of Frank SInatra and interprets them for the Idolers (Read: This batch is so uncreative musically, that we need someone to interpret the music FOR them). At least none of the judges will be complaining about the arrangement.

Haterade now has a 5-1 record in the American Idol finals - including being right for the past 2 weeks. Can he improve it to 6-1 this week when Shania Twain comes to town?

Haterade nailed both people to be departing last week. This week is Idol Gives back - can Haterade figure out who Idol will be giving back to civilian life?

Haterade hated Michael Lynche's performance last week - and apparently, so did the rest of America, who forced the judges to burn their save for him. Can Michael rebound enough to send 2 of his peers packing, or did he just delay the inevitable?

Make that 3 straight bottom 2's that Haterade has called. Can he make it 4 in a row? We'll check this week out for who will be the Sergeant of the Lonely Hearts Club Band and who should have Let It be as we once again revisit the Lennon-McCarthy Songbook.

Happy Passover! For Jews all over the world, this is the first few days (depending on when you're reading this) where you must strike out all leavened things from your eating menu. We'll see who Haterade (who has nailed the last 2 elimnations) thinks will be stricken from your musical diet.

Why is tonight unlike any other night? Because it's a $100,000 ticket to go on the American Idol tour that's on the line. 10 of them go and one of them doesn't. Tune in to see which Idoler is going to see a lot of money go away.

Last night, the women gave us their last musical attempt to get into the Top 12. Tonight, the men do the same. Will they stand and deliver? Or will the sleep-fest by the women sound light and lively by comparison?

The good news is that Crystal Bowersox is feeling a lot better. However, 2 of the women, 48 hours from now, are going to be quite ill. Will it be Crystal (doubtful) or some other ladies?

Will the women be better than the guys this week? Will the women be better than how they were last week? Will Crystal Bowersox be able to sing? How will she sound? Will Haterade actually get anything right this season?

Tuesday's episode featured the top 12 ladies, which was an average episode featuring some decent performances, some nerves, and a bunch of train wrecks. Now the judges have insisted this year that the ladies are better than the guys. So after this episode, the mentality will either be that 1. The judges are completely wrong and they were just saying it to try to manufacture a female winner or 2. The judges were right and I just spent 2 hours of my life having as much fun as Conan O'Brien at a Jay Leno family reunion.

Welcome to Haterade's first Idol Anal-ysis of 2010, where he anal-yzes on the ladies first performance of the year. Who was good? Who was generic? And which 2 people may be taking a slow boat to nowhere?
