While Johnny and I were toiling away on our Secret Squirrel project, we had the pleasure of working with
Julian McCullough who was the host of the show we were writing for. And while Julian is exceptionally funny, he's also a really nice guy. And so, while you're at home alone this Friday night with that pint of Mint Chocolate Chip and salivating over that tub of petroleum jelly you just purchased, hold off for a half hour. Check out Julian's Comedy Central Presents which airs at 11:00pm EST/10:00pm CST on Comedy Central (obviously). Or hell, just wank it while you watch ... but aim away from the television. I know Julian and your mom would appreciate that.
Echo is right, you should at least DVR Julian's show. He's a comic's comic. One of the guys the other comics watch and laugh. Truly one of the funniest dudes I've ever met.
Funny guy. I've got my DVR set.
BTW
Was the secret squirrel project revealed yet?
We DID reveal the Secret Squirrel project ... sort of. (We did this on the last 3 Chords Podcast) Here is what it was in a nutshell...
Johnny and I wrote a television pilot for a major network last summer. Ultimately, it didn't get picked up because they didn't have anything to "match" it with - despite their love of the show. So we are now pitching it to other networks. Because of this, we can't reveal the name of the show, tell you what it was about, or tell you the name of the network. But I will say this: it was damn funny. And Julian killed on it.
I was also good.
