Connecticut News!

This story comes from my old hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. With our amazing schools, one would assume we'd be smarter than this. According to this CBS News article, Albert Bailey, 27, and an unidentified 16 year-old (why is a 27 year-old hanging out with 16 year-old? Where there's smoke there's fire. I'm just saying) called a People's United Bank ahead of their robbery and asked them to get a bag of money ready.
Sgt. James Perez says the two Bridgeport residents showed up about 10 minutes after making the call and were met by police in the parking lot. Perez told the Connecticut Post the suspects were "not too bright."

For those not from CT, the stereotypical dead giveaway here is the description "two Bridgeport residents."

That's one way of phrasing it. I'd go with, "Senator Joseph Lieberman".
Same thing.
