Connecticut News!
ct_news_ybnby.gif
This story comes from my old hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. With our amazing schools, one would assume we'd be smarter than this. According to this CBS News article, Albert Bailey, 27, and an unidentified 16 year-old (why is a 27 year-old hanging out with 16 year-old? Where there's smoke there's fire. I'm just saying) called a People's United Bank ahead of their robbery and asked them to get a bag of money ready.
Sgt. James Perez says the two Bridgeport residents showed up about 10 minutes after making the call and were met by police in the parking lot. Perez told the Connecticut Post the suspects were "not too bright."

Avatar 2: The Sequel

Already there's a sequel in the works for Avatar and it seems to be even more original then the first one.

Update on the Car Pushing
lorry.pngThousand of people saw the video of the truck driver obliviously pushing a car down the A1 in England. Rona Williams, who was in the car, was not even injured in the incident. The truck driver eventually realized what he was doing and came to a stop, still oblivious to the seriousness of the situation.
But the driver did not think the accident was serious, even asking her if he needed to stay around.

Pointing out he did, the police eventually arrived and insurance details were swapped.

While she is nervous about driving on the motorway, her £6000 car survived with only a dented side and damaged tyres.

"All things considered it came out of it pretty well. It's a tough little car," she said.

The trucking company isn't saying anything. The driver was suspended, and police are still investigating. Rona Williams talked about the experience in this video.

Eighties and Gentlemen

"Hot Tub Time Machine" *** (out of four): This raunchy, 80s-soaked comedy is every bit as funny as a movie called "Hot Tub Time Machine" should be. Which is to say, quite a bit.

Hot_Tub_Time_Machine.jpg

Not since 2006's "Snakes on a Plane" has there been a must-see worthy title like "Hot Tub Time Machine" (apologies to the makers of "Mega-Shark vs Giant Octopus"). So if the promise of seeing John Cusack, Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson using the titular bathing device to journey back to 1986 and relive their glory days doesn't have you Google'ing "advance tickets", then this might not be the movie for you. But don't say they didn't warn you.

404 Error

Whoops! We're not sure if it was your fault or ours (probably yours, we're good that way) but you've encountered a FATAL ERROR!!! Or at least, a pretty grumpy one.

Specifically the Latvians who run our server are telling us in a weird accent "Smarty error: [in evaluated template line 6]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'mtfeed' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 580), Comrade!". Ain't life a bitch.

If you want to vent, email our slacker of a webmaster. Otherwise, we'd suggest going back, using search, or clicking around aimlessly on this page like a moron.

Have fun.
