
Spotted these interesting light fixtures the other day.
Take a bag of 12 ounce Styrofoam cups. Glue them together leaving room at the top.
Suspend a light fixture inside. Screw in an energy efficient bulb.
And presto, Styrofoam light.
(Okay, there's probably more to the construction then that, but I'm on the right track.)

Certainly a cool, bright and unique piece of interior design. Quite dramatic when hung together or in a row. They are also a neat way to reuse those wasteful, disposable cups.
Although, I'm not sure how environmentally safe they are, given the heat from a bulb is bound to cause some Styrofoam CFCs to leak into the air.
In this case, design trumps safety.
