On the left is a real photo of Saturn's moon Mimas. It shows an 88 mile wide crater on the moon that looks eerily familiar. The picture was taken by the The international Cassini space probe, then beamed back to earth. Pretty amazing.
No word on if Alderaan is still a planet or has been blown into smithereens by the moon Mimas.
We'll keep you posted...

That's no moon! That's a space station!
New theory - Star Wars was real. If it was long ago enough in a galaxy that really wasn't that far, far away (maybe it was close then and has since become far, far away), there could have been a third Death Star not covered in the movies. It could be that it was rendered non-operational rather than blown up and it drifted through space getting pounded by little asteroids and covered by dust until it settled into orbit around Saturn.
Forget going back to the moon.
Forget going to Mars.
Let's go get some authentic Star Wars memorabilia from Death Star 3!
I just hope Cassini can find an unshielded thermal exhaust port on it before it's too late...
Well seein ad star wars started with the words 'long ago' I would assume Alderaan is nothing but space debris.
Frank, you just blew my mind.
So Frank, you're saying that the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter used to be Alderaan?
