Better Guitar Solo? Fred Durst or Zebra Finches?
French artist/composer Celeste Boursier-Mougenot creates unique works of art or music using unorthodox means. He recently entered and exhibit at the Barbican Centre in London. He put the little buggers in an aviary with an electric guitar to see what would happen. Some of the Zebra Finches used branches to make, sort of, music. I think one finch payed opening riff of "Over The Hills And Far Away."

Here are the Zebra Finches tunes -- which are going Jersey-Shore-hot-tub-viral as we speak.

And then there is the entry from Limp Bizkit's (Did I spell that how they want it? Idiots.) entry. Durst has a guitar pick, and opposable thumbs. Hell, he has hands. Let the axe-off begin.

Ooh, tough call. But after some consideration, I'm going with the Zebra Finches...

This goes much deeper than composing music, and Art for the sake of art. This is indeed science. The mere undeniable action of the Finch using the stick as a "tool" (makeshift guitar pick) must indeed change their classification in the animal world. "Tool" use implies an animal has knowledge of the relationship between objects and their effects. On the other side is Fred Durst who is quite simply just a "tool".

Believe me I know, pally, it's quite amazing. I got a cheap joke out of it, but the birds using sticks and rocks and pluck strings is really something.

WTF?
Are you guys retarded?
Fred Durst is a musical mother fucken genius.
He brought the world great songs like Nookie and the album Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavoured Water. It changed a generation.

He did rhyme "nookie" with "cookie." That was pretty impressive.

So stick that in your YEAH!

Nookie. I remember. Was that when everything went to shit? Rap-Metal, Metal-Rap, Nu-Metal. Fuck. I think Likin Park is still around. Limp Bisquick and Korn had the good taste to drop dead.

Fuckin late 1990's. Like 1997 maybe. Now we got The Nickelback Band and Lady GaGa.

Shame on you record industry.

I think that was the technical name for that style of music, E.
