Unintentionally Odd Headline of the Day:

ballsorder.jpg

I don't think many Brits thought twice about this headline which was published in The Guardian today.

They knew what it was about. The headline didn't strike them odd, or strange, or wrong.

Me, I needed the subhead to allay my fears.
And to stop me from laughing.

Phew!

Read the full article on "the childrens secretary, Ed Balls, urgent inquiry into whether Sunday school teachers and private tutors should be allowed to smack their pupils."

Hmm, maybe it was intentionally odd?

And, for the record, we agree with Balls, smacking children is unacceptable.
