James Cameron's Pocohontas. Wait, Avatar

Avatar continues to thrill audiences and rack in millions at the box office. Now it seems the backlash over the story has begun.

Some people think it's a retreat of Disney's animated Pocohontas. Others think Avatar is a Dances with Wolves, The Last Samurai, Lawrence of Arabia, or even a Fern Gully clone.

I haven't seen Avatar, so I can't throw a stone. I heard it's incredible, and these days, isn't every story a version or remake of another?

Still, this made me laugh.

The first thing I said when the credits started rolling on Avatar was, "that was totally a combination of Fern Gully and Pocohontas."

I still think this is just an extra-long cut scene from a World of Warcraft night elf epic mount quest.
