Help NASA Pick Last Patch

patches2.jpg

NASA Space Shuttle astronauts have worn a lot of interesting patches over the past 30 years.

Now the Shuttle program is in its final years and NASA asked current and past employees to design the last shuttle patch.

85 designs were submitted, 15 finalists selected.

Starting Monday you can vote for your favorite. For now, you can preview the 15 patches here.

It's clear these guys aren't designers cause damn most of the entries are quite bad. Personally, the better one is number 8 from left to right.

If 2010 is the last year does that mean the new ships are near voyage worthy? I thought there were still some years away.

I think one should just read: "Up yours, Soviet Russia."

Wow - most of these are pretty bad and they can't agree on which Shuttles to use. Half of them seem to forget the Enterprise. I guess No 5 would be the best.
