Here's a nice version of guerrilla warfare.
In 2004, Richard Reynolds decided to combine his love of gardening with his hatred of urban blight. Over the years he's helped fix up ugly areas near his home by planting flowers, bushes and herbs.
His idea has grown and attracted many followers. His website, Guerilla Gardening, explains more ways others can get involved and spread a little of Mother Natures greenery around. There's videos, a book and instructions on distributing devious Seed Bombs.
The goal is to improve neglected public spaces and roadside areas, not just plant a batch of tulips on your neighbors lawn. There's more examples and ideas on the site. And of course, all are welcome to join this true greening movement.
