Holiday Memories: Ramones Style
Gabba Gabba Hey!

This classic Christmas song should be mentioned along with "White Christmas," "The Christmas Song" and "Christmas In Hollis" in the discussion for irrefutable holiday standards. Here is "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)"

"1-2-3-4!"

Dee Dee Ramone: September 18, 1951 - June 5, 2002
Johnny Ramone: October 8, 1948 - September 15, 2004
Joey Ramone: May 19, 1951 - April 15, 2001

I think Taunee is just teasing us when she says she likes The Ramones. "You're a girl and you like The Ramones, do you? Go on..."

She has no idea who The Ramones are. She just REALLY likes Cuban men.

I know who The Ramones are! And I'm a girl. I listened to them ON TAPE that's how long I've liked them. Great post, Johnny!

Go on...

It all started when I was 16. I purchased a used Volkswagen Bug in August and drove it to school every day. When you're 16 and you have a car, suddenly you acquire 13 friends who need a ride home from school. One such friend was a totally rad punk girl named Rosie. She was the worlds biggest Ramones fan. She loaned me a tape she made of all her favorites. I listened to it in my bug pretty much every day on the way home from school for the rest of the year. My younger brother, Rosie, all my acquired friends who needed a ride, and I, would sing at the top of our lungs as I dropped everyone off.

Our favorite was "I Wanna Be Sedated". Also at the top were "Beat on the Brat", "Pinhead" and "Sheena is a Punk Rocker".

Also, I got 100% singing Blitzkrieg Bop on Rock Band the first time I tried! Ok so I was on easy, but still.
