From The Wish It Was Literal Literary Desk...

As the valiant cadets at West Point waited for the Commander in Chief to take the podium and tell them what they will be doing for the next couple years, cameras flashed on an odd sight. A young man was briefly shown killing time reading the book "Kill Bin Laden."

"Just prepping for the speech, Sir. Ready when you are."

This may be a Top 5 B-roll moment of all time. Just amazing. It would be the greatest news story in the history of ever if this young man actually did kill Osama Bin Laden. The odds aren't great, but man, would that be a coinkidink for the ages.

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but the technical execution is perfect, so that should count for something, right? I hope they get their apple juice.

It looks like this Florida State lineman took the suggestion of "be like a rock" to a whole new level.

This entry from the wildly popular YBNBY series "Holiday Memories" is from an underrated Christmas special from Rankin-Bass called Twas The Night Before Christmas that first ran on TV in 1974. She ran yearly on ABC until 1993 but is still shown on ABC Family.

The plot roughly follows the beloved poem. Only there are mouse clockmakers. Other than that, mama in her kerchief, the dude in his cap and most everything else.
