3.3 Chords & the Truth with Johnny Wright Episode #4: Black Friday
The Wright Family Thanksgiving Hootenanny of 2009 had about 75 people strong in Whatcom County, Washington. It was wild. Ping pong battles. Mud football. And an epic whiffle ball home run derby. Oh, and there was some turkey and stuff.

My job was to baste one of the birds. Basted that sumbitch like a I was a young Julia Child.

I also was watching CNN and became incredibly annoyed. Therefore, a 3 Chords & the Truth rant was on deck and ready to fire. The lodge was full of Scots during our holiday, so I figured wearing my Glengarry cap was appropriate.

Hide the woman and children, J-Dub has a percussion cap, muzzle-loading pistol!

The inevitable return of the great white..... Mr Surly Pants.

Ok, so maybe CNN is going a little overboard with reading SallySlutBucket from Nowhere Arizona's random comments.

But I still maintain that twitter is pretty darn cool. I would try to explain its coolness, but it would be like trying to explain why Wayne's World is funny to someone who never wore flannel in the 90's. You just had to be there.

I am choosing to see "Mr. Surly Pants" as a compliment. Even though I am technically wearing Smarty Pants. Boot cut.

The opening Walmart bit killed me. So did the surprise throw down at the end.

A duel?

Will this finally be settled with pistols at 3.3 paces?

I'm not kidding, I just flipped on CNN and they are playing viewer voicemails about Afghanistan. And ... channel changed to Sportscenter.

The duel may happen BM. Of course I may cheat. Don't tell Adam.

We won't tell 'im mate!

Indeed that was a compliment. Boot cut I can handle.... as long as you're not wearing plaid smarty pants

No plaid smarty pants. That would be ridiculous. But my kilt is the Campbell tartan. I make no apologies for that one.
