Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Is a Dope
Suddenly SNL's Celebrity Jeopardy doesn't seem that farfetched. The idiotic Sean Connery looking at the category "Therapists" and shouting "It looks like this is my lucky day. I'll take the rapists for $200!" may not be that dumb after all.

Take the perpetually inept Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Disliked by almost everyone he comes in contact with. You'd have an easier time finding postive comments about Rick Barry. Kareem thinks he deserves to be an NBA head coach because he has a few rings. Not going to happen. He couldn't guide high schoolers on an Indian reservation to success. He thinks he should be a television analyst for the same reason. Have you heard him try? It's painful. Like John Madden on Quaaludes with a shot of NyQuil.

But how did the former Lew Alcindor do on Jeopardy? Maybe he's not that much of a cement-head. I mean, a question involved a quote from ... Kareem Abdul-Jabbar! Should be a layup. Or a sky-hook, if you will. Will he answer successfully? Doubtful.

And ... airball.

Kareem had one talent: Playing basketball.

I hope he still has money from those days, because i doubt he could get a job at McDonalds.

It just goes to show, you can be functionally retarded and still have a sucessful career in the NBA.

Yo! The sky hook was a great shot. What happened to it? Furthermore, you tell your old man to try keepin up with Trebeck and this trivia bullshit from 30 years ago.

I have no idea why more 7 footers don't try to master the skyhook. It literally is unstoppable.

The same way I don't get why there aren't more knuckleballers in baseball. You would think a few more AAA guys would figure out that if you can throw a knuckleball, you can have a 20 year career.

I laughed my ass off, along with everyone else in the room, when we watched Airplane. Ups to that flick, and to Kareem who was good in it. God damn did that schtick get beat to death though. Cmon. Leslie Nielson, stretch yourself bro!

As far as knuckleballers, from what I understand (which is what I read on Espn and such), when they have control problems, they really have control problems. Guess it's harder to master.

The skyhook, I don't know. Maybe it's being used and I'm just not seeing it. Don't follow basketball that closely. Maybe big guys don't want or need to work that shot anymore?

He wasn't as embarrassing as Soledad O'Brien.

Celebrity Jeopardy is a joke. Who were those people?
