I received the following e-mail from Echowood today:
Shit, I still have room. Because I know Johnny would want me too, here are some links to the random mentions they make in the video.
Dude-So here goes my best description of this 3 Chords & the Truth. Johnny, with a sweet 70's style mustache, and Echowood, getting more and more intoxicated, give the best possible explanation on the healthcare debate two people in their conditions can muster. Also, keen observers will notice this is the very first 3 Chords & the Truth to be broadcast in sweet succulent high-definition. So grab the kids, call the neighbors, and crank those puppies up to 1080i because trust me, you want to see every single piece of dandruff on Echowood's shoulders.
If you have a few minutes, can you write up our latest 3 Chords & the Truth. Thanks!
Echo

May i throw my 2 cents in here?
As the recipient of government healthcare for the last 5 years (Thanks to the VA) I'd have to say that if the public option runs like the VA medical system, then there will be a lot of good and a lot of bad to come from it.
Pros: The care is there when i need it, and i am fortunate enough to live in a city where a VA hospital is located. The mental health services alone have literally saved my life.
Cons: Long waits. If i want a scheduled appointment with my Doc, i have to schedule it out about 3 weeks ahead of time, and if i have an emergency that can't wait that long, i have to go to the VA and get in line at what they call "Urgent Care". If I'm not there at 7:30 am when they open up, i should bring a good book, because i'm going to be there all day. I can only imagine what would happen to a system like that if they made it available to the general public.
Bottom line, The system is going to get overloaded, but at least it'll be there when you need it as long as you aren't in a hurry.
End Sheriff's 2 cents.
Sheriff, where I live, the waits for any doctor are that long, whether you have insurance or not. Actually longer, because every appointment I've made for my kids is at least five weeks ahead of time. A day or two if they are sick.
I think the most important part of this one is hoping it gets a handful of you rascals to read Raymond Chandler.
Coming soon on 3 Chords & the Truth: A passionate discourse on the virtues of Dashiell Hammett.
Dandruff? Ivo you bastard.
Yeah, what a dick. I'm a little tied up and he posts the thing. Great. That's appreciated. But taking cheap shots at Adam's dandruff is uncalled for.
Johnny, it's nice when one gets the chance to take him down a few pegs. So arrogant. So proud of his white collar poking out of his little sweater.
Echo, at least I didn't mention how freakishly large your head is.
Don't suck up to me dude. I know you want to come to our roundtable dinners, but that's still a ways off.
Ivo, Echo's head is not that large. It's his hair.
That spiky mop is a life form all it's own, just like Johnny's mustache.
By the way J-Dubs, good work on the 'stache keep it up and you can be Magnum P.I. for Halloween.
I want government to stay out of my health and stick to what its good at: wiretaps and bailing out wall st.
I am for a public option. But I just want costs to go down. If the government does that... Atleast somewhat I say 'Ay'
All I need is the Ferrari.
Echo needs to grow a 'stache too if he's gonna be Higgins.
