Apparently there isn't a lot to do in State College, Pennsylvania. According to
this report from the
Centre Daily Times:
State College police on Saturday night responded to a report of a white man dropping a hamster attached to a small parachute from a third-floor apartment at 924 Bellaire Ave. But upon arriving, police found neither the man nor the hamster.
Personally, what's good enough for a GI Joe character is good enough for a hamster or a small dog. We never questioned why we put monkeys into space, so why should we arrest someone over their testing of Newtonian laws?
