Time Zero: The Last year of Polaroid Film

While I'm one of those who abandoned film for digital years ago, it's still a shame that we've seen the demise of both Kodachrome and Polaroid. Time Zero is an upcoming documentary about the final days of Polaroid film, and I'm looking forward to this one. Full marks to the filmmakers for using Flickr to premiere their trailer - very smart. Oooohhh, thanks for the heads up on this one!

I loved Polaroid. I used to use it a lot for lighting checks before digital became practical. I also used to make 4x5 Polaroid transfers to watercolor paper. The technique made for a very striking image. And squeezing and rubbing SX-70s while they developed was fun too.

Alas.

I wish I would have bought cases of Polaroid film last year.
30 packs are selling for $80 on Ebay.
