Spending a day in an Absolut world is not as liquor filled as you might think...
So, first off, I'd just like to thanks the folks at Absolut and Co. for letting me in on their interactive creative forum on Friday.
As I quickly found out with Absolut, there's a lot to do...

Like...
Drink an Absolut Bloody Mary.
Remember that it's Absolut not Absolute.
Download iPhone Drinkspiration app.
Drink an Absolut and Tonic.
Snack on pastries.
Drink an Absolut and soda.
Listen to a bunch of creative dignitaries talk about their craft.
Post about that on YBNBY

Break for lunch.
Listen to a panel of new media visionaries talk about their craft.
Suppress jealousy.
Chuckle at the exploits of a "Psychic Media" adviser.
Tweet about that.
Eat some killer Ghetto appetizers.
Drink some Absolut cocktails like blueberry Tom Collins and Absolut Basil cocktails.
Meet some interesting bloggers and digital artists.
Break for dinner.

Jump on a bus and watch Wolfmother perform an acoustic set.
Drink more Absolut cocktails with my friends Bruce and Joel.
Head home dazed and smiling with a full, unopened bottle of Absolut in tow.
End the day with a completely random moment: Listen to the cashier at a Chinese take out place argue with the cook about some free samples of hand lotion. (Least that's what it sounded like to me.)
Seriously though. It was a fun day.
Thanks, Absout.
PS - Here's the kick off spot for the evolution of "The Absolut World."

That packaging on the bottle is sweet!
what's the deal w/drinkspiration app?
Drinkspiration has lots of cocktail suggestions for all sorts of time, situations, atmosphere's, etc. etc.
The design and layout of it is really cool.
rad. says it was developed by great works - they are a sick digital agency, so i'm not surprised.
