Scientists/geniuses have been able to transfer genetic material from a defective (rotten) egg and switch the stuff into a heathy egg. Then was born those two rascals pictured above. Twin macaque monkeys Mito and Tracker, named after "Mitotracker," a dye that is part of the genetic process. I think that magic was also involved, but that's not confirmed.
This development is important because it may become possible to stop the spread of incurable inherited diseases. Mazel tov, Science. Here's a smack on the arse from YBNBY.
Now, I may not be reading this correctly, but I'm pretty sure this means that these monkeys were born in eggs. Some sort of a simian-avian super-cool hybrid. Grown in dodo bird-sized eggs. I read the word eggs, so I'm going from there.
With this being the case, guess what we are close to getting? That's right, flying monkeys! It's actually happening. I'm so excited. There will be Saturday afternoons in Central Park, feeding the flying monkeys chunks of bananas by Bethesda Fountain. "Feed the flying monkeys pieces of banana, tuppence a bag." That's a great day for everybody. Maybe I can build a flying monkey coop on the roof of my building. I'll ask the super. He should be fine with it.
Best day of my life...
