It's becoming an annual tradition that the Friday night before the NYC Triathlon, the events participants gather for the NYC Underwear Run.

This year, the run was sponsored by the island of Jamaica and set a world record for the largest group underwear run.
(Yeah?)

Naturally, the sight of boxers and panty's jiggling and bouncing 1.7 miles through Central Park attracts a crowd. More viewers than the actual Triathlon I'd guess.
(That's not to slight the triathletes. It's just that the Underwear Run is at night and the Triathlon starts at dawn. New Yorkers are more night owls.)
