Not sure if it gets more patriotic than this...My brother Drew just called to tell me that the family headed to the local Lummi Indian reservation to pick up fireworks. They're gonna put on a show for the kids in Whatcom County with our cousins.
One of the items they purchased was "The Pissed Eagle." A rocket that has a picture of a huge bald eagle ripping off Osama Bin Laden's head.
Give me a second ... little choked up here ... tears welling ... that's just beautiful.
Okay, got it back together. I freaking love America. Happy 4th of July you bunch a' reprobates.

Well, it's another July 4 and is a war zone here. The neighbors are lighting off quarter sticks and the entire city(pop 45000) is lighting off what Are professional grade fireworks and other explosives. I'm going to attempt to figure how to share the 30 sec recording I made because no one seriously beloved me when I tell them how loud and how much smoke there is. Happy Independence Day!

Booze, Broads and Explosives; everything that makes the 4th the AMERICAN HOLIDAY.
