An Israeli woman either wanted to end her own life pretty quickly or win a bet.
She's still alive and the train arrived at the station on time. The video is quiet dramatic.
The press are reporting this as a suicide attempt.
I'm not so sure.
She may be mentally unstable to try this stunt but I'm not sold on the suicide angle.
I keep looking for the edit points, thinking this may be some viral marketing video.
She specifically lays down by the side of the rail, which seems odd for someone trying to their own life. Why not stand and let it hit you head on? Or lay across the tracks?
And when the train passes she calmly walks away.
Hmm...somethings fishy here.

That is weird. What up girl?
Reminds me of that guy in NY a few years back. Someone had a seizure, fell on the subway tracks and this dude jumps on top of him to hold him down and the trains ran over them. Saved his life. That guy was a Bad.Ass.
What? I never heard of that story E. will have to look it up.
Dig it:

Right.
If you ever fall on the subway tracks in NYC. Always lay in the middle or center of the track, not to the side or in the area beneath the platform. THe most clearance is in the center.
Watch when she gets up from the kneeling position. There is a circular area of pixel fudging going on right around her. It actually obscures the track if you watch it.
Good catch MB.
She also picks something up as she leaves the tracks (her purse?) but I never see her drop anything when he walks up to it.
If she wasn't really there (is that what you are implying) then how do you explain the reaction of the guy in the lower left? or the guy that cross the tracks to go after her once the train is gone? Plus, her shadow crosses the tracks ... that would be quite a bit of work to fudge.
Not saying that it's not possible, just pointing out the amount of work needed. I still think it's a hoax, though.
Could there be a hole there that she lays in and that is what the pixel play is about ... concealing a ditch between the tracks?
No Tim, I think she was there. But possibly not at the same the train was. Or, like you said, there was a ditch or more space by the side of the rail so she'd safely survived the train rumbling over her.
The guy running across the tracks could have been watching the action and concerned with what she was doing. Anyone who sees someone lay on train tracks would be alarmed, train or no train.
I think she lies whatever down next to the tracks, walks away and then reapproaches the train tracks once it is closer....
