It seems to be a slow day around these parts, most likely due to the tie hangovers from Father's Day. I don't have much to add, other than a bunch of photos featured in USA Today and Yahoo Movies from Tim Burton's upcoming film, Alice in Wonderland.Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;

This is definitely the movie that tim burton was born to make. Looks absolutely amazing.
I'm certaintly jonsed about this movie. Though, does anyone know If this has anything to do with the shelved American Mcgee Alice movie?
Some of these images also remind me a lot of the work of Mark Ryden, especially the one of the Queen of Hearts

I nearly choked when I saw this post. How is it possible that I didnt know this movie was being made?!
Nihil, I was looking forward to the Amerocan McGee Alice for years, its a shame they never did make the movie. However Tim Burton will probably put a nice creepy twist on the story, maybe just not as gruesome as we would have hoped for the A. McGee one to be.
