I voted for OPEN cause that's the type of pizza I usually eat, but I always use a knife and fork when eating Chicago-style pizza.
The best thing to do is to have three pieces and eat each one differently. But this and Tim's earlier remark that prompted this post reminded me that I need to eat pizza, the right way, soon.
So, three girls are on a road trip. One from the Northwest, one from the Midwest and one from the Northeast (me). The topic of strange food habits come up, and I make some overarching statement like, "I don't get it. My (northwestern) sister in law doesn't fold her pizza. That just seems wrong to me." Then I realize they're both staring at me like I'm crazy. I had no idea pizza folding was a regional thing or a decisive issue, the way that the word "pop" is.
I agreed with Tim on this one - Chicago style is the best anyway, and you'll pull a deltoid trying to fold that bad-boy.
It has a whole lot to do with the regional pizza. If you fold a cracker-crust St. Louis pizza (which is likely cut into small squares anyway) it will break, while trying to eat a enormous, drippy New York style open will just make a mess.
I think a better poll question would have been to compare pizza styles.
I'm with SA about Tim's comment. Me thinks I'll have to get some Giordano's tonight.

Thank goodness it's right up the road.
Giordanos is a ladies specialty shoe store in NYC.
I won't be ordering from there tonight. But Jeff, SA, feel free to FedEx me a slice.
