The rise and fall of Michael Jackson is complete.
This week an auction will be held with the contents of his Neverland Ranch.

There's the red lamé jacket with gold tassels and red bugle beads (Lot No. 1,141, estimated at $4,000 to $6,000). And the navy-and-gold number with crown-shaped brooches, worn at a 1999 news conference with Nelson Mandela (No. 1,273, $400 to $600). Of course there are the gloves: 13 of them (Nos. 1,366 through 1,374), each one covered in "iridescent Swarovski loch rosen crystals." The most recognizable design is estimated at up to $15,000. There's this collection of figurines (see below) with what looks like a Hitler Mickey Mouse and Peter Pan given the old FU hand gesture. And lots of rooms full of stuff for sale that look like they were designed straight out of the Richard Pryor movie "The Toy."
All in all, an interesting, weird, sad look into the life of a singer who had it all, lost it and may never get it back.
If you want to own a piece of the King of Pop, you can place bids online. View the 5 volume, 900 page catalog (it's a lot of stuff) at Juliens Auctions.

"May" never get it back? "May"?
Jackson has as much chance at getting "it" back as he does in developing facial features. The guy is the Headless Horseman of Pop.
No swayze, he has a head, just no face...He looks like a real life version of rorschach...
There's something else he may never get back: Respect.
A guy who hates himself/his race/his legacy enough to become something else--right, not someone else, but something else--like he did, doesn't deserve any respect at all.
I still love some of his songs, definitely he was important to the pop music/culture, but it was back when he was still a human being.
