"All that's left for me to see is tulips on the mound."
Poetry, indeed.

Poetry, of course Will!
And the best razor ad I've seen in my whole life till now.
They always show the ladies shaving the legs, the armpits, but I've never seen one like this..
Ok, there was a Brazilian issue of Playboy magazine where the girl was pictured trimming her bush with a Gilette Sensor... But as it wasn't a Gilette ad, it doesn't count.
I think this whole "no pubic hair" fetish has the undertones of pedophilia.
My friends' boyfriend even said that a girl without pubic hair was almost comparable to a child (girl).
Disgusting!
But true when you think about it. Women have pubic hair. Girls have none.
Pedophilia.
Enough said.

That's full of stereotypical bull.
You don't see anyone mowing the lawn in skirts, high heels, etc... What a horrible depiction! Even it is for a razor. Plus, who would be prancing about, kicking their feet behind them like they were aiming for the moon while pushing a lawn mower that could, if you do something stupid, eat your feet and shred them to the bone?
And look how prissy these girls act, it's sickening!
Plus, there's some racism involved in this too. Notice the asian lady trimming a bonsai tree and the covering of her mouth (the stereotypical 'shyness').
And their clothes!? Don't get me started. Where are the girls who wear jeans? Not every female wears short shorts or skirts (with heels) nowadays.
This whole commercial gives me chills because I, right away, think of the "Stepford Wives" and the strive for unreachable "perfection".
And it makes me want to gag when I watch it.
"Free your skin". Oh yeah, having itchy ingrown hairs and red razor bumps sure make me feel free.

Sense of humor... sense of humor...
Where have you gone????
While the hairless "fetish" (or movement, as it is quite popular) might have pedophile undertones - it is nice to find a clean lawn rather than one overgrown with all manner of woodland critter entrenched.
Besides, its a safety thing. I mean you can easily have a choking hazard.
And speaking of racist - did you notice its a British commercial? Being Americans we might not be able to view this is as much perspective as those who live closer to France.
(OK, I may have crossed a few lines in this one - help me out and say something worse Dave.)

Great points Alexandria, I agree. Especially with point of the racism... (I'm Japanese!)
Good point with Sarah...although, have to agree with Will little bit. You need a little maintnance down there. Dosn't mean you need to be hairless.
And Will. Alexandria is from Cambridge, England. She moved to U.S. 5 months ago. She's not American.
I know because she's my friend (met her in London when I studyed abroad 2 years ago). She's the one who showed me to video.
Please excuse mistakes I make in comment. I'm still learning english.

How the hell are you supposed to do yard work with a razor blade? That could take days!

Alexandria,
I'm all crated and ready to go. I'll be there soon.
