A really cool idea that I signed up for this morning, and thought I might throw it out to the NY-based readers of YBNBY.
Kickstarter is a new site that attempts to hook up people with ideas with people with money (don't worry, small amounts) to make them a reality. One of the ideas by three New Yorkers really caught my eye - a crowd-sourced crowd funded book. For $30, you essentially get to publish whatever you want on one of the 100 interior pages, and then you get a copy of the book itself when published.
It's a fun idea, and so one of my photos will be appearing on one of the pages (probably one that I'll take with my newest toy, a Digital Infrared Camera). In the first 36 hours, they've managed to get a third of their way towards their goal, and I have no doubt they will run out of pages soon, so if you want in, sign up now.
And then you get to meet me too at the book unveiling, maybe share a jar or two. (But don't let that put you off)

Interesting idea. YBNBY, the book. I was just telling EchoW the other day he should publish, book style, his Sky Photo thingy.
Creativity - it's not just for accountants anymore.
