Methinks that Billy Bob saw how much pub Joaquin Phoenix received for his outer-spaced interview with Letterman a while back. Some poor Canadian disc jockey tried to interview Billy Bob and dared mention his previous day job.
The interview ran off the rails pretty quick after that. The highlight is Billy Bob comparing himself to Tom Petty. More than once.

What a jerk! I think Jian handled him perfectly. Jian is a terrific musician in his own right, having been in the band Moxy Fruvous for years. Billy Bob was pushing even MORE for a fight, which Jian didn't bite on. Later in the interview, when he started saying insulting things about Canadians he threw out a couple little digs saying that Jian was stupid and a pussy. Luckily, Jian didn't rise to the bait. I think after all this, Jian's celebrity may rise while people just will continue to think Billy Bob is a prick.
