The ponzi potsy, Bernard Madoff is going to plead guilty to 11 counts of fraud tomorrow.

He could be sentenced up to 150 years in jail. Which amounts to 15 years, maybe, for a 70 year old.
There are some that hope the judge gets tough by putting him in a maximum security prison so BM can spend the rest of his life being gang raped, tossing salad and being some cons bitch.
Not me.
I don't think jail is an appropriate punishment for Bernie. (First off, he's a con artist who'll end up running the prison or at least the supply of cigarettes.) I think this judge should get creative, reach back into the past and choose something more fitting.
Now first off, all of BM's assets should be seized and anything his family has reclaimed.
No one should be allowed to shelter his cash or crap.
The scoundrel and his minions shouldn't keep a cent.
Then he should be sentenced to some good old fashioned public humiliation.
The public pillory would be a good choice.
Set this wooden thing up near the bull on Wall Street.
Lock Madoff in it during stock market hours and let people hurl tomatoes, peaches, insults and other garbage at him.
All day long.
(Security would be provided to stop people from throwing rocks, knives, acid or shooting him.)
Sentence him to 5 years of this public humiliation.
Put up a web cam so his victims and others could watch his daily hardship.
Let him remain the public face of reckless financial behavior and serve a punishment that fits his crime.
The pillory feels more appropriate then 3 squares, free health care and an 8*10 cell. Jail lets him off easy. It's not punishment, it's where he knew he'd probably end up one day.
After his 5 years hanging down town are up. BM can go poop wherever and do whatever he wants. As long as now, while the financial world reassess itself, he serves as a public deterrent and a poster boy to all those who would do the same.
Judge, please don't lock him away and let us forget about him.

I'm suprised that Bernies' still alive, steal millions from me and your a dead man. I agree that the use of Public Humiliation would work wonders on the Wall Street/Banking industry and other abusers of finiancial issues. Bankrupt the entire family and put both Bernie and his Wife and Kids up for the Public Abuse, this really would make some think otherwise about doing crap like this.
