I'm seeing a lot more posts with old Calvin & Hobbes.
Seems a trend is brewing...fans looking back at the old strips and seeing how they might apply to what's going on in the world today. Or just scanning then posting the brilliance of Bill Watterson.
I'm glad it's happening. I was a big fan back when.
A collection of wisdom on the jump.

The brilliant comic strip guys (Gary Larson was another) knew when to quit when they ran out of ideas, leaving us wanting more...
the others...well, their stuff still runs how many years after their death?
(sorry CS, but Peanuts stopped being funny or relevant many years ago)
Comic strips are some of the best commentaries on society.
