Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Well last night, Jimmy Fallon debuted his late night claim to replace Conan O'brien and needless to say..........it wasn't as bad of a train wreck as I thought it would be. Granted it was kind of odd to see The Roots as the house band (they looked awkward) but overall the show was enjoyable. Luckily Jimmy didn't break down and laugh at his own jokes for 20 min. They had Robert DeNiro and Justin Timberlake on there with Van Morrison singing. DeNiro looked like he'd rather be somewhere else but JT at least provided the most spark during the evening. Van Morrison....well I'm not a fan of him and didn't like his performance (I could have crapped something better than what he did). For those that missed out, it will only get better and I have high hopes for this one. (a clip after the jump)

Here's a clip of Jimmy "Slow Jammin' the News" with The Roots....I think half of America popped a woody while they sang how Nancy Pelosi stimulates the Stimulus Package....

Ooh harsh. Crapped better than the Morrison performance? I thought he sounded f'ing fantastic. The man rarely ever performs live and he still sounds like he did back in the day. He is an icon on all accounts and deserves better than that commentary.

Miles, you are just not familiar with BD's worthy of being put into the Louvre craps...
Personally, neither am I--but it's in his profile...

Thanks SO and next time, I'll post pics to back up my crap-speak...either way though Miles, Mr. Morrison sounded rough. If you watch the performance later on in the clip (around the 35 min. mark), you'll see what I'm talking about. Sadly though, if your claim of him sounding now like he did back in the day, that doesn't make me want to get any of his other stuff. But of course, everyone's opinions are like my previously mentioned craps, everyone has one and they all usually stink.

That's Morrison for you pal; your not a music man huh? Either way Big Dickus, sounds like you were sheltered as a child?, sorry for your loss. If you don't already have an appreciation for him it's not likely you will gain one, he's sort of an acquired taste that way.
