This is what happens when you take your favorite Hip Hop songs and convert them to 8-Bit audio files a la the original Nintendo.

It's a compilation of the following tracks:
Jay-Z -- Dirt Off Your Shoulders
T.I -- What You Know
Chamillionaire -- Ridin'
Ludacris -- What's Ya Fantasy
Bonecrusher -- Neva Scared
Kanye -- Overnight Celebrity
Ludacris -- Move Bitch
Lil' Jon -- Get Low
Kanye -- Gold Digger

That's awesome.

I wonder how long it will take some record producer to rip this off and put this technique to use in a new album.

This is just too perfect for the whole Weird Al "White and Nerdy" thing. I love it. I want more. I'm generally not a hip hop person but I do indulge occasionally. Since my husband is into old school computer music (Amiga especially) and new compositions done on old systems this is great.

Am I the only one who has never heard of *any* of these songs before? I feel old and incredibly unhip.

That's why I don't even type that address in the browser... God forbid...

Cindy... you're not the only one... I'm feeling like a grumpy elder, on the top of my 32s...
But I can't deny... it's pretty funny.
