Skittles relaunched their website today to "embrace social media". Front and center is a live twitter feed that shows every tweet that mentions Skittles. Naturally, this has caused much merriment across the twittersphere, with as many rude statements about Skittles as possible. i just logged on and found the above combination on their home page.

The dude pointing his finger, the phrase "Taste the rainbow" and the tweet "I fingerbanged your sister for a handful of skittles" is probably the greatest unintentional brand mashup I think I've ever witnessed. Just goes to prove that putting power into the hands of the people doesn't bring conformity, it brings rebellion and revolt. Vive la revolucion.

So - can I get that Tweet on a T shirt please?

Everyone yield! Art coming through! These breasts were part of a Qingyuan, China exhibition by sculptor Shu Yong.

The sculpture was previously featured in an exhibit in Beijing that aimed to increase appreciation for natural curves in a country where plastic surgery is booming.

I don't know if displaying giant round breasts are exactly the best way to discourage breast augmentation. Shu Yong seems to like them. See more of his work here.

Last week we featured a video of the student occupation at NYU. This student protest was nothing more than a blip on the news radar for those of us living in New York and probably meant even less to those outside the Big Apple. And rightfully so. It was nothing more than an excuse for attention, much like Madonna's Swept Away or the brief resurgence of the mullet back in 2004. But Dave, from "Where Dave Is" has a fun and entertaining two part series (Part I, Part II) on the occupation ... of a cafeteria. Here are some of my favorite lines from Dave's coverage of the "event".

• ...some kid who claimed to be in the school communist group who said he would have stayed with the occupiers overnight but he hadn't brought a pillow.
• [In response to the student's first demand of full amnesty for all participants] Including this in your manifesto at all undermines your bargaining position by making you look weak much less leading with it which indicates you are only doing this till it stops being fun or you get distracted by news of a Yeah Yeah Yeahs reunion.

How well can a hamster vacuum a room? And is this torture or the best money saving invention of the year?

The hamster controls the roomba by running in the ball in whatever direction he/she likes. The ball is supported on three rollers and an optical sensor measures which way and how fast the ball is spinning. Those values are fed into a microprocessor that controls the drive wheels to make the robot mimic the motion of the ball.

Open wide. Real wide.
Well what you can do is nothing compared to what she can do.
