I'm all for standing up for what you believe in, but it's another thing when you go about it all wrong. Dozens of NYU students protested rising tuition fees, school investments, and other issues at the university this past week. And I'm sure they have great reasons to be upset. But as you'll see in the unintentionally comedic video above ... the students have the organization of a blind rodeo and absolutely no leadership skills whatsoever. Here are some of my notes:

- NYU is known for its excellent film school. If the guy shooting this video has aspirations of being a documentarian, he deserves to fail. He'd be much better in a major that encourages his douchey-ness ... like finance.
- Take the Rodney King beating tape as an example... don't announce you have a camera when the shit goes down.
- And if you're looking for support against the "corporate suits", it might be best not to highlight that you have a $1,600 laptop in your bag.

Seriously, all across the nation college students assemble for no other reason than to exercise the right to assemble, and they protest to exercise their right to protest, and they cross their fingers that they will become the next big martyr in civil rights. I am especially peeved because raising tuition, or academic discipline, or whatever the fuck they are crying about is not a matter that "civil disobedience" can resolve.
My advice to these next-gen hippy wannabes - shut the fuck up you dirty, pedantic, self-righteous cum rags.
Oh Echowood, that is really funny.. I have to agree..these guys probably aren't even paying for their tuition. Their parents would probably smack the shit out of them if they knew they were doing. I think the camera guy was seriously worried about getting tasered, though..

Is this all about tuition fees? Isn't NYU a private university? The only form of protest they should be doing over tuition fees is not giving the university their money. I doubt there's much else they can do.

What's really funny about this vid is how they keep anticipating some big showdown, and the "adults" in the room just look at them like they're insane.

I go to NYU and these douche bags are such idiots, most NYU kids aren't pathetic like these kids. The sad thing is they probably won't get expelled.
