I thought we'd mix it up a bit and go with a theme this time. And with the majority of the planet covered with water, it wasn't a hard theme to come up with. For those of you unfamiliar with the game, after the jump you'll see 10 satellite images from Google Maps and each will have a central feature. In this case, that "feature" is a body of water or has to do with a body of water. Write down your answers in the comments section and see how you do. The winner gets nothing but praise and admiration from me and other readers of the site. Enjoy!
I'll go for the easy ones.
2. Niagara Falls
5. Hoover Dam (I recognized it from Transformers!)
8. Crater Lake, Oregon (I worked with a scientist who's specialty was impact craters, heh)

Tim's right on 4 but wrong on 7. (See above)
Sorry, didn't see that one ... I was looking at Leo's post thinking that #7 was still up in the air.
At first glance, I was sure that #6 was Lake Tahoe, but a look at the map says not.
I'll be looking at them a little more later today. The market is ripe for the pickin' ... I'm off to make some money.

Didn't Fernando get 6? Looks like OkeeChoBee.
Yeah, I didn't "approve" his comment quick enough. So we're just waiting on #3.
#3 is Mavericks at Half Moon Bay, CA
pdxme- with the come-from-behind win! Nicely done. #3 was definitely the hardest of the bunch.
Thanks for the hint!
