My last From the Air challenge seemed to go over well. Though, I felt that with the added hints it made it a bit easy. And so, my geographically inclined friends, I'm giving you a new challenge albeit one without hints. Enjoy!

The thing that surprises me about that picture is the color of the water. Maybe it's the haze.
#3 reminds me of a diamond mine, like the Big Hole in Africa ...
I'm surprised no one has gotten #7 yet. Admittedly, #9 is very hard and #10, while one of the biggest landmarks in the world, probably doesn't look like much from the air.

In order to get some feedback, do you guys enjoy these? Should I keep doing them? Do you prefer them with or without hints? Could there be a better method of submitting your answers, rather than writing them in the comments for other people to see?
I missed the first one, but this a great way to take a fun break from work and play with Google earth. Like starting off without hints, then only add them if needed.

Tim- yeah, I think it's attributable to haze. It didn't have the best satellite image. #3 is definitely the Devil's Tower.

OK E, only because you're kicking ass at this, I'll give you some hints.
#9, What sort of industrial plant would NEED those waterway cul de sacs. Perhaps for shipping? Perhaps for waste removal?
#10, This isn't in a desert. Rather, it's in a very wet jungle.

I like it all as is Echo. Nifty as heck! Like Chopshop but geographic.

I agree, keep everything as is.
Done, done, and done.
Keep it as you did it today. Clues as needed.
