If you've ever visited New York City and walked around Union Square or near Radio City you may have run across Joe Ades and his "amazing" $5 vegetable peeler. No doubt he was a character, with his booming voice and his smooth sales pitch. He could probably sell Christmas trees in February. In fact he once did.
Well after a lifetime of selling and making a fortune little by little, Joe Ades died at 75.
