What your social network tells you about your preferences

Over the last six months, YouTube has really implemented a lot of improvements - HD quality, widescreen, enhanced embeds, and a much improved system of recommendations.

Occasionally I'll go in and browse what they offer, and most of the things they recommend to me make perfect sense - Watchmen movie trailers, 80s music videos, classic British comedy, viral commercials.

And then, today, YouTube recommended to me the above. And I thought it was just too perfect not to share. WTF?

Did we just watch her give an enema or was that something else entirely?

Hooray for enema walk-throughs!

It seems Youtube recognizes scara's endless searches for JW and other douche bags and is suggesting a DIY alternative.

thank god it was edited, under the new UK extreme porn laws I probably could be arrested for watching that un-edited.....

#1 - If it looks weird, it's a Japanese video;
#2 - Probably not educational;
#3 - Certainly nasty;

what leads us to

#4 - Somewhere, someone is jerking off to that video.

Well, that's obviously a private clinic. As someone who's had the misfortune of being in a Chinese hospital, that place is way too clean and uncrowded.

Scara, could the connection have been made when you watched the 7th video down in my post "10 Awesomely Bizarre Japanese YouTube Videos"?

If so, I am proud to have played some small part in making the YouTube Robot Overlords think you're into enemas.

And Leonardo: your logic is impeccable, my friend.

Jeem, that's one of the first things I learned when the Internet became accessible. Okay, it has been around since the samurai's era, but not jumping in our faces like nowadays.

I'd better shut my mouth... my wife is Japanese, she can read it... shhhh
