According to this report from KHBS/KHOG, at 12 noon each day this week, a mysterious blasting sound followed by a slight rumble runs through Sequoyah County in Oklahoma. The USGS said there's been some reported activity in the area, but nothing seismic in nature. And because we at YesButNoButYes like to speculate to our hearts' content, what do you think is causing this strange ruckus? (Via BoingBoing)

Where's Michael Gross when you need him...
Johnny, is that you?
One only hopes it's David Blane. His latest stunt gone bad, he's trying to escape.
I say hold the rescue party. Let him rot.
FartMan.
Looks like work has begun on Obama's underground work camps.
Could you describe the ruckus, sir?
I second the Johnny Wright finishing his secret mission notion...
Otherwise, maybe dismantling Dick Cheney's former undisclosed location?

It looks like there are a lot of deepish lakes in the region within valleys. Assuming that there's little airflow within the region, its possible that slight seismic activity caused dissolved, supersaturated CO2 from the bottom of the lake to gurgle up explosively.
There's really no way to test it... unless there's a bunch of dead animals.
