The Japanese trailer for Watchmen has lots of new footage, and once again, it feels like I'm watching Dave Gibbon's panels faithfully come to life. Having reread both the graphic novel and Dave Gibbon's new retrospective over the holiday, I am SO jonesing for this movie, it's hard to contain myself.

Yes, Snyder admitted that the movie is squidless some months ago. That really fucks it up... BUT it still has just about everything else nailed down and looks quite impressive.
From what I hear, the blue explosion is caused by Dr Manhattan having a vindaloo curry the night before and letting one rip in midtown. That's way more scary a threat to band together against than an octopus.
