Welcome mart. You should really read the backlog, and join in the forum. As SO said, some comments really mean nothing if you don't have the old post reference still lit in your mind.
Maybe if you subscribe for the Forum RSS feed you can get the older posts on your reader (I could do that with some blogs I've signed up on Google Reader...).
