Excellent find, nice one! Amazing what can be missed, eh?
Nice. I remember maybe around a decade ago that some guy developed a program that could predict which songs would be hits, or accurately pick which songs were hits. I'm guessing it was all about pleasant chord progressions as the Axis has demonstrated.
That went on forEVER. My internet cafe has now gone THROUGH THE ROOF.

Well, they proved that Journey ripped off Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway's 1972 song "Where is the Love" because that's what the BEP's sample.
Actually, it proves they ALL ripped off "Waltzing Mathilda"!!
