For those that like both, here's a good to enjoy them.
Cook three to four slices of bacon, enough to render 1 ounce of fat.
Once the bacon has cooled a bit, pour off one ounce from the pan.
Pour bourbon into a non-porous container.
Strain the bacon fat into the container and infuse for four to six hours at room temperature. Place mixture in freezer until all the fat is solidified.
With a slotted spoon, remove fat and strain mixture back into bottle.
Pour and drink.
Let us know if it's delicious.

Yikes. I'm sure this is delicious and all, but that photo ain't really sellin' it for me... looks like some formaldehyded freak-o-nature you'd pay a quarter to see at a circus sideshow.
Sexcond what Jeem said... Baireman, is it your goal to get us to all throw up today? What's up dude?
There is no way in hell I would use my bourbon for that. Bourbon with a side of bacon maybe, but I'll pass on the bourbon bacon grease cocktail.
"Jimmy Dean's Old Style Bacon Bourbon, preferred by 7 of 8 cardiac surgeons who need to get a new Beamer."
Shudder.
The picture is what they linked to on post. No puke or rumble in your stomach intend. Sorry if it caused any to lose their lunch.
Looks and sounds pretty disgusting. Why don't you try it first and let us know how that goes?
I made a bacon infused vodka a few months back. It was truly heinous.
Bacon is awesome.
Vodka is awesome.
But somehow they seem to cancel each other out
Tried it a couple of months back. The bacon old-fashioned, with 2oz. of bacon infused bourbon, 1/4 oz maple syurp, 2 dashes of Agnostura bitters and a twist of orange (crucial, this last bit), was like drinking breakfast in a glass. Very Wonkaesque actually, as you get orange first, then maple syrup and finally bacon.
That actually sounds really tasty Adam!
