C'mon--what was that device called that you can attach to you so that you don't have to leave the baseball games, etc--it's not a diaper; it has a catheter kind of thing but less painful--they made men and women's versions...
that would have made a fortune if a vendor had sold them in DC...
but the cold weather is not a bladder's friend....
I was there - there actually were enough bathrooms, until the rush when everyone tried to leave at once through two 6 foot exits.

Scara. Loved the election liveblog but that was different. What can you say about speeches? I listened to some of this on the radio at work. This was history but it wasn't as dramatic, exciting.
That said I would loved to have been there if not for the job, the $, they all out of rooms and you wouldn't be able to see the stage anyway. Still, it was history.
I'm up for the Oscars AND the Superbowl! I won't be doing anything important those nights, like watching TV. Not that I'll have anything to contribute, since I don't keep up with movies or football. I have no life...
I'd be up for it on Oscars night, but I'll have to sit out the Super Bowl fiesta. I don't think I'm emotionally-equipped to handle typing and being a Cardinals fan during the Super Bowl at the same time.
The Arizona Cardinals are in the Super Bowl. I still can't believe that statement. Wow ... next you'll tell me that we have a African-American President.
I'll have to watch my Cubbies closely this summer and start getting my fallout shelter ready for the pending Apocolypse.
Anything's possible Tim. Never thought I'd live to see the Red Sox win a world series. I remember seeing the Bronco's lose 4 SuperBowls before winning one. (Thanks Terrell Davis.)
As far as liveblogging, the election was the only one I think I'll do. It was great but that was a unique occasion.
Tim - I wasn't invested in this Super Bowl until now.
I'm not a Cards fan but I'll root for them. With you.
I hope some of the luck the giants had last year the Cards find.
My guess would be...Not nearly enough...
you have to wonder.
i also wonder why there was no liveblog :(
Only one big toilet called floor...

"The Traveler's Friend"? My immediate thought also... Improvise!
10,000 port-a-potties .. and there was a live blog with facebook and cnn
mobudaki was looking for a ybnby liveblog like on election night, I think...
I've used empty soda bottles once... in a theather... They may have managed a way too.
yeah, sarcastic one. i did the facebook/cnn thing today but it wasn't as fun as election night with you people.
I knew today would just go on too long to liveblog, plus really, not a whole lot to talk about.
If people are interested, I'll set up a liveblog for Oscar night? Let me know.
Super Bowl live blog?
Rip on the ads and the half time show. The game, ah.

This is our night. Yes. We. Did.

For those who planned it right, the perfect toilet was in their pants.

Welcome aboard, Baier ... we can use all the help we can get.
