Bernard Madoff: Creator of the largest Ponzi scheme in history. Destroyer of billions and of fortunes.
Gov. Rod Blagojevich: Illinois top dog gets caught on tape trying to sell Obama's Senate seat for favors and cash. Seriously.
Senator John McCain: His performed well during the primaries. But nothing went his way after the GOP convention and certainly not after the banking collapse. Every decision seemed to backfire. None of his talking points seemed to stick.
President George W. Bush: The downward spiral of this Presidency continued. Almost nothing went right.
Max Mosley: Formula One President was caught in a Nazi- or prison-themed S&M orgy sex tape. Humiliation, jokes, horror and lawsuits ensued.

I only voted once (I got ethics!) but I say, Madoff, Madoff, Madoff. That said, lot's of Wall St. guys deserve a bitchslap this year. Beaucoup. Madoff's just more obvious.
Blago, I kind of dug that story. Horse trading for a senate seat? Not too surprising. Talking like he did though... 'I want to get paid for appointing somebody for this fucking thing...' (Not an exact quote there.) Kind of refreshing to hear. I'd be happy if they hounded his ass out the office though...

McCain had one of the poorest executed campaigns in history. But the old fuck fought hard. He did lose but I don't think anyone seriously believes that he eats babies.
Palin is just like any other ambitious hero of hicks. being from Alaska myself, I can say that cold, dark small towns can do that to people. Google Troy Hurtubise (the bear proof suit guy from Canada) if you don't believe me
Bush's failures are legacy. His spot is reserved for the biggest douche of the last decade. Lets pray that he's still #1 in 2100.
My vote goes hands down to Gov. Rod Blagojevich or Cunt Bag as I like to call him. He's truly one of those people that are so embarrassing I feel like showering after hearing him speak. I even hate capitalizing his name. A true American villain with nothing to back it up. Top that off with being totally defiant and unapologetic, Blagojevich gets the wooden spoon.

E, I don't think we ran a poll like this last year but we might of. I think this year was an incredibly exciting and eventful year all around. Between the politics, the scandals, the economic meltdown and lots of interesting sports stories, this year beat last year hands down.
I'm lumping in the good & bad things of 2008 all together.
"Almost nothing went right?" Well, he did get a shoe thrown at him and he was really good at the stick n move. That was a plus. He didn't pardon Libby (yet) so that's good.
As for Blago, yeah that guys a major ass. It's funny to see how he's operating now. He's a man without an island or support but he's still fighting.
