Welcome to the great YBNBY Christmas Giveaway. Every day this week we're unwrapping items in a great prize giveaway. Yesterday we unwrapped The Truth About You and now it's time for Day Five.
All you have to do to be entered for the competition is leave a comment on any of the seven stories telling us which was your favorite YBNBY story or feature of the year. On Monday 22nd, I'll pick a winner at random, and contact you for your mailing address, and ship 'em out. I'm afraid we're restricting entries from the 48 contiguous US states only, as shipping this box overseas would just cost an arm and a leg.

Axe have been very good to YBNBY over the years - sending both Echowood and myself to LA, giving Echo and Johnny the spa treatment - and I feel like all we give them back is a few ropey blog posts. YBNBY appreciates everything they do, not least for the advertising they continue to create specifically targetted for members of this site. Witness The Naughty To Nice program, with a video that has probably the funniest line I heard all week - "Hey, I'll ride that mustache off your fair face".
Can't vouch for the shampoo because I'm bald have a shaved head. But hopefully this will prize will go to someone with lustrous locks.

In honor of Axe and all the fine work they've done for YBNBY, I'm choosing my two favorites today as the two write-ups of Axe events that I read this year--Johnny's "I'm not even close to being a metrosexual and to make it worse I got stuck on a subway on my way there" write up, and Echo's "I am pleasantly surprised by how well this product blends in with my Italian marble bathroom" post...

I can vouch for these AXE products. I've been using them for a few weeks, and not only do they look amazing in my spectacular bathroom (replete with waterfalls and maidens fair) but my new hair quality has women throwing their underwear at me. (This was uncomfortable when I visited my grandmother in the old age home last weekend.)
my fav. of the year is probably, "Wednesday is New Comics Day" I gave up smoking about 6 months ago, and every week I go, I reward myself with a trip to the Local Comic Shop. WiNCD, really gave me a lot of good suggestions for what to pick up, as I haven't been a collector in about 12 years.
I love that you included the entire version of "Alice's Restaurant". That one should never die.
Govenor Palin Pardons a Turkey - and we get to watch the losers get executed in the background while she gives a banal interview. I think it was the Starbucks cup that really sold this skit. SNL is gonna miss her.
I enjoyed the Street With a View article from the other day.Why didn't anyone think of that before? Immortalize yourself and ridiculous situations in Google StreetView...genius.
