The Seven YBNBY Prizes of Xmas - Day 3

xmas_prize_day.jpg

Welcome to the great YBNBY Christmas Giveaway. Every day this week we're unwrapping items in a great prize giveaway. Yesterday we unwrapped two packs of Akoha cards and now it's time for Day Three.

All you have to do to be entered for the competition is leave a comment on any of the seven stories telling us which was your favorite YBNBY story or feature of the year. On Monday 22nd, I'll pick a winner at random, and contact you for your mailing address, and ship 'em out. I'm afraid we're restricting entries from the 48 contiguous US states only, as shipping this box overseas would just cost an arm and a leg.

This is the best idea for a competition we ever had - I'm loving reading the comments, and it's definitely going to help us plan for next year. So many people liked the Liveblog that I'm thinking a Superbowl or Oscar Night Liveblog may well be in order. So, let's see what's behind advent window #3...

Prize Three is also an unclaimed prize from earlier in the year - The Ninja Handbook by Ask-A-Ninja. "This book looks forward to killing you soon" - I have one of these and it makes a perfect bathroom reader. (Girls will probably be going "ewww", men will be nodding their heads, at least in my experience).

We'll unwrap another prize tomorrow. For anyone interested, next week I'm going to be republishing our Top Ten Stories of the Year to go into the Hall of Fame, and any that make the list here will be added to a poll for an honorary 11th position.

Today's favorite is a tie between Johnny Wright's rules of being a sports fan (re: loyalty, etc) and his goodbye entry...

I like the YBNBY mixture of the short funny video entries and the winding wacky who knows what turn this will take original writings.

My favorite YBNBY post, off the top of my head, was where I learned about Someecards. Some of my friends hate me now, but it doesn't stop me from using those cards for every occasion.

Today's favourite is the bacon bath salt. Not that I'd like to get out of the bath tube like a piece of pork, but for the sake of the curiosity. I'm a bacon addict and I'm afraid of visiting the cardio-doc. Just can't get enough of bacon.

And for the bathroom library, I have The dangerous book for boys, by Conn and Hal Iggulden and a book with Calvin and Hobbles comics. Can't stop reading them.

The two posts on Dec 10th blew my mind to a certain degree - the video on the durability of condoms and their making (what a way to ease a person's mind, haha) and the video of those people driving in the winter (made me laugh, yet cringe every time they would crash into something)

I'm with dawgsman81. Possibly the best post EVER!
I have already used that post to my advantage and hope you other guys out there do it too.

I loved Miss Cellania's posts about the mysterious 2nd floor of her new house...I will say I'm quite disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a handful of rotting corpses up there.
