Terminator Salvation is scheduled for May of next year. The movie site has a blog with entries posted through the filming period.
This movie takes place several years after Judgment Day, but prior to 2029. Just like it took a long time to get an HD plasma screen in our world, it took Skynet a lot of research and development to get to the T-800, and this movie explores that "space between." We have all been fascinated with the world after Judgment Day. Here it is.In this film, there are Hydrobots that patrol the water, Transports that move human prisoners around, Harvesters that collect human beings as lab rats for Skynet and Aerostats that survey all that is going on with the resistance the world over.
No Linda Hamilton, no Arnold Schwarzeneggar, but the character of Kyle Reese is there (although played by Anton Yelchin in place of Michael Biehn) I've never seen Christian Bale in a movie, but he looks pretty good from here. I believe this is one I'll have to go to the theater to see on the big screen.

Wait a minute, Miss C, you've never seen the Batman movies?
Yeah, I saw the Batman movies! They had Michael Keaton in them.
Assignment: rent Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (on bluray if possible) The first in quite good and the latter just astounding.
Now onto our feature presentation: Salvation seems ok... not cheesy looking like the last one but it kinda lacks feeling. The trailer is better than i expected but I'm still skeptical.
She's being facetious! Sheesh!
Actually, rent American Psycho, then Equilibrium, and then the two latest Batman movies.
Fa-sheesh-ious!
